Top Ten Tips

A. “You are a born leader.” Repeat this self-affirmation at least 10 times a day either say it in front of a mirror or you can even record it and replay it. This is your magic code and continuously picturing the code definitely makes a positive impact.

B. Take negative feedback with a bucket of salt. Negative feedback is always better than no feedback. Just imagine ignoring a 3 year old child for even more than 5 minutes, I guess you are already visualizing the tantrums thrown by the child. Similarly if an adult is deprived from stimuli, he will definitely loose focus in no time.

C. Appreciate and acknowledge yourself for who you are. Once you become comfortable with yourself you will be able to nurture, coach and support yourself effectively.

D. Be a doer. Get into the 3 step mode
-What are your goals?
-How will you achieve them?
-And the answer to the above two questions is 'Action all the way.'

E. Relaxation and taking time off the hectic schedule is a must. Tension to a reasonable degree acts as a positive impetus but beyond that it plays havoc.

F. Be your own person. Focus on the ‘how’ and not on the ‘why me.’ Rephrase the question of ‘why me’ to ‘how can I overcome my fear.’ The more defensive you become the more hostile the source of fear appears.

G. Replace the problem statements with a strong vision. Let this vision become your driving force to solve problems. Live in that vision.

H. Stop wasting time in doing superficial things rather work at the grass root level which is the only way to raise your self-esteem.

I. Stop misinterpreting or exaggerating problems. Do not fall for others’ interpretation of your problems. Learn to be your own judge.

J. Constant learning is the key to self-growth. Don’t be daunted by this fact, once you understand the dynamics of learning, the job becomes a lot easier.

Living by Taglines - Word Power

Yet Another Poem from my poetry realm

I have the "Passion to Perform", hence "Performance is delivered",
"I Think Different, I Think Ahead, so I Stay Ahead",
"Applying thought", "Powered by Intellect & Driven by Values" lets me achieve,
"The Next Level of Performance" and "The Brilliance of Innovation".

The "Value of Trust" is something which gives me the "The Power to Change",
"The mind is a terrible thing to waste" tap its power to the fullest,
Face the gripping challenges “Like a rock”,
"Think outside the box” to emerge as a leader.

"Have the Power to Be Your Best" & see how “We bring good things to life”,
”Celebrate the Moments of Your Life” & "Honor thy self",
”Progress is our most important product" which makes You & I “One in a billion”,
"Quality is Job 1” should be life’s punch line.

"Just Do it" be "Unlike Any Other",
"Sprint Ahead", "Cherish, Celebrate, Commemorate" spirit of perseverance,
"It’s Your World. Take Control" for "You have the Power of Choice",
"Powering What’s Next" is "Pushing Limits".

"Have it Your Way" is what keeps me going,
You "Decide with Confidence" which helps you "Get in the Game",
"Making great things possible" by looking at the "The Big Picture",
"Expect Great Things” and “Make Progress Every Day",

”Life’s Good”, “It’s the real thing”,
Take “The pause that refreshes” and “Be all that you can be”
Remember You & I are a perfect combination of "Sense and Simplicity",
"Make the Most of Now”, that’s “Where it All Comes Together".

The Importance of Persistence

In this hyperturbulent world everyone is in a hurry to do something or the other, but very few survive the shock waves.

When one decides to take up something new and master it, most of times it so happens that one does it with an abrupt start without much pre-planning.When we do something haphazardly then progress does not come gradually and steadily, there are these spurts of ups n downs in the learning curve, called plateaus and these definitely form a stumbling block which finally make you loose your confidence and give up on the task of accomplishing a new skill, sport, technology, language etc.

To overcome these blocks one needs to perfom "Consistenly with Persistence" and needs to keep track of the progress.Only people with grit and persistence will survive these initial hurdles and achieve thier goals by smoothening out the meandering learning curve.Only then one will rise way above these plateaus.

Ideas must seek development, production, refinement before they reach fruition. This process takes time and effort but with Persistence one can definitely achieve their set goals. So freinds learn to experiment and relearn from the mistakes rather than pushing yourself too hard whereby in the process you loose ground. Take it one step at a time and that too with a big stroke of persistence.
